The goal of the Whisky Protagonist is to provide drinkers with the opportunity to appreciate whisky from around the world. Tastings can be held in venues such as clubs, meeting rooms of your choice or even in the comfort of your own home if preferred.
Mark Southon: Whisky Protagonist
During a successful sales career Mark developed his interest in Whisky and fine French Wines. Whilst still in pursuit of a decent golf handicap, his affiliations with medical and sporting fraternities have allowed him to research, taste and evaluate one of the World’s most noblest spirits, namely Scotch Whisky.
Describing himself as a 'Whisky Protagonist', he is never more at home than sharing the muse or sampling his favourite subject with an audience, delivered in a light-hearted manner interjected with anecdotes gathered from his prospecting around the country in search of ‘liquid gold’. He lives in South Yorkshire with his long-suffering wife, a library of World Whisky knowledge and a contented drinks cabinet.
